Juventus Lend Mauricio Isla to Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers (QPR) confirms it has completed the transfer of Mauricio Isla from Juventus. Isla joined QPR on loan for a season. "QPR have completed the loan transfer process Juventus versatile player Mauricio Isla," the official statement QPR.


Isla is one of the mainstays of Chile in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Players who can plays as a wing defender and the midfielder also had a chance to get a number of offers from several big European clubs.

"He is a top player and we're happy to have it here. He showed his quality at the World Cup with Chile and he was a great recruit for us," said the QPR manager, Harry Redknapp.

"He is a versatile player and is very energetic. I am sure he will be a great asset for us this season," he added.

Meanwhile, Isla himself said he was happy with the deal. He also said he did not wait to play with QPR in the Premier League.

"Everyone knows that the Premier League is the greatest league in the world and a very interesting proposal from QPR and it became one that interested," said Isla.

"I hope that this coming season will be good for both the club and myself. I will give 100 percent in every game the ability to help QPR in the Premier League," he added.
